Dr. Janelle Lum

Dr. Janelle Lum was born and raised in Hawaii, and is a graduate of Iolani School and the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She received her veterinary degree from Iowa State University. Dr. Lum got her start in veterinary medicine as a veterinary assistant in Honolulu and Seattle, and ultimately decided to pursue her DVM because of her interest in the human-animal bond and her passion for all fields of medicine.

Outside of work, Dr. Lum loves spending time with her family and friends, shoreline fishing, perusing farmer’s markets, and all things food and beverage.

Dr. Deana Sin

Dr. Deana Sin was born and raised in Kaimuki. After graduating from Sacred Hearts, she went to the mainland for school at the University of Pennsylvania where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering and her Veterinary degree in mixed animal veterinary medicine. After finishing her veterinary degree, she went on to complete a rotating internship in West Los Angeles and a specialty surgical internship in Nevada prior to moving home to Hawaii.

Dr. Sin’s professional interests are Surgery and Emergency and Critical Care. When not working, Dr. Sin is excited to be home in Hawaii with her fur family of 2 cats and 3 dogs. She enjoys days at the beach surfing, paddleboarding, diving, rock climbing, and traveling.
